Dave Adams
From his early beginnings in radio through Transmedia’s years as San Francisco’s leading Post Production facility and only full service “Dub House”, to his lifelong leadership role in technology and innovation, Dave has created many of the technologies and processes that drive our industry today.
This includes the very genesis of digital delivery and what ultimately became DG and carries on through to MediaFax, TMX and Spottraffic – the industry’s first Internet based delivery system for radio.
Today, Dave continues to lead the charge in the development of the latest On-Demand technologies that are to spot delivery what Netflix was to Blockbuster – Innovative and Disruptive. Dave never stops thinking and never stops creating.
On the non-business front, Dave is an avid car collector (Classic Thunderbirds), doggie lover (Buddy, his Siberian Husky) and accomplished water skier (in his day). He lives in Diablo, Ca.
Doug McVickar
Once a competitor in the Audio Post Production world, Doug McVickar, joined the company in 1989 and together with Mr. Adams founded Media Fax - the ‘Game Changer” in world-wide traffic instruction distribution and the very beginning of digital delivery as we all know it today. Famous for throwing the best Christmas parties in New York, this team was known as the “Boys from Dover” and many stories can, but should not be, told. Today Doug pilots our marketing and business development efforts, while playing an integral role in the innovation of our industry leading technology. His intimate knowledge of industry trends and needs is invaluable to keeping us on the cutting edge.
On a non-business front, Doug is an devout Father to his two college aged daughters and accomplished snow skier (in his day). He recently did what many of us only dream of by picking up and relocating to the country and a beautiful spread in the California Sierras in Clio, Ca. – just West of Portola and East of Quincy. Way to go, Doug.
John Prelock
After joining our MediaFax division in 1991 and learning the wonder world of Traffic from the ground up, John pulls unconscionable tours of duty and always makes the impossible… possible. Managing our traffic department and always meticulous in everything he does, your jobs are completed accurately and on-time. John is the always calm, cool and collected professional that you want on your team.
On a non-business front John is a passionate and formidable mountain biker and motorcycle racer (in his day). He lives in El Cerrito, Ca. with his long-time love, Nancy.
Lynn Branden
Lynn has kept our family of companies on the financial “Straight and Narrow” since joining us in 1990. Through thick and thin, Lynn has managed to keep us rolling – even when the R&D budgets were off the charts and the equipment purchases were fast and loose. Lynn is an incredible team player who stands up to any and all challenges with trust and honesty.
On the non-business front, Lynn is an avid doggie lover with three of her own and an accomplished competitive Equestrian (in her day). She lives in Fairfield, Ca. with her Landscape Architect husband, Jay.
Doug Haylock
Doug has been the lead developer of all software, systems and infrastructure of Transmedia, MediaFax, Spottraffic and The Hub for over 25 years. He was instrumental in our early Satellite systems which led to the launch of TMX – the industry’s first Real-Time delivery model for radio in 1991. His understanding of the intricacies of all program code, server structures and systems integration is an integral part of moving our Leading Edge technologies forward.
On the non-business front, Doug and his wife Nancy are avid Jazz aficionado’s and can be found traveling to the Sacramento Jazz Festival every Memorial Day for 4 days of live Jazz on the river…(even in their “present” day).
